Bryant Wins Governor’s Award For Outstanding Volunteer Service
At Bryant Heating & Cooling, we believe the more you give…the more you get.
Habitat For Humanity took notice and nominated us for a prestigious Governor’s Award For Outstanding Volunteer Service.
Habitat nominated us because they felt we contributed a significant amount of our “time, talents and resources” in their mission to provide safe, affordable decent housing for families in need in the community.
This all came about because Anthony Schambari contacted Habitat and asked them how Bryant Heating & Cooling could help. The result was we donated the heating and air conditioning units for 6 houses and volunteered the labor to install the units. The total contribution added up to $30,000.
Bryant Heating & Cooling not only donated in 2009, we also did in 2010.
We didn’t stop there. Habitat also commended us for “the excellent customer service” we delivered. Specifically pointing out that we were “happy and quick to respond to phone calls from the new homeowners with questions on how to operate their units” and “volunteered their time to work with us to address some issues with units installed by another vendor”.
Habitat also wrote in the award application, “Bryant Heating & Cooling employees volunteered their time to attend training classes to learn how to adopt green building techniques and how to configure the heating and cooling systems to earn an Energy Star rating.”
And finally, Habitat wrote, “All in all, Bryant Heating & Cooling exceeded our expectations and treated us as if we were a long-standing customer.”
Thanks to everyone who participated in the Habitat program. Your hard work and dedication is helping make our community a better place to work and live.
